The four of us met 25 years ago while working with the Center for Creative Leadership, helping Fortune 500 executives build their leadership skills. Executives arrived from around the world to spend five days in intensive feedback and experiential learning.
Now, with the Earth facing unprecedented challenges, we asked ourselves, “What is our best and highest role in helping the environment?” Given our skills, energy and connections, how can we have our greatest impact? What can we do now that will make a real difference?
It’s a question we all have to ask ourselves … and a primary theme of the conference.
For us, the answer was Green Wave. We crafted a cutting-edge program for leaders who have a passion for the environment — to empower these leaders to act swiftly and ambitiously for the good of the planet. On our team, we each bring unique skills and experience, but we all are committed to creating a special experience — a warm and welcoming environment where leaders can be themselves, reflect on what is working and take their leadership game to the next level.
Dr. Richard O. (Rocky) Kimball is an internationally-recognized pioneer in the field of experiential learning and leadership development. He is Founder of Action Learning Associates and Co-Founder of the Fred Leadership Forum. Rocky enjoys backcountry skiing and mountain biking.
Dr. Laura Quinn is Global Director, Organizational Leadership at the Center for Creative Leadership and Founding Board Member of the UN Globally Responsible Leadership Initiative. She enjoys hiking near her home in Colorado.
Dr. Paul Seymour is an executive coach who has worked with senior leaders and their teams for 25 years. He is a featured presenter and facilitator at the flagship Leadership at the Peak program at the Center for Creative Leadership, working with leaders at the top of Corporate America. Paul enjoys fly fishing and blues guitar.
Dr. Glenn Hallam is a pioneer in leadership models and metrics, having developed published tools as a Research Scientist with the Center for Creative Leadership and as founder of two companies: Creative Metrics and Green Dock Ventures. He enjoys jazz trumpet and mountain biking.
